$4 Coffees and Blood-spotted Sheets Stayed here Aug. 11-13 for work. Positive things - walking distance to a monster mall and nice, new design with a large tv. Negative - found on my second night that the sheets were actually spotted with dried blood. I asked for fresh sheets which they brought up, then told me to change them myself because of covid. They also didn’t have any face cloths and when I asked for more, was told they don’t have any because they’re all dirty. Was going to grab a coffee in the morning but they want to charge $4 for a coffee. Most hotels offer this for free. Wouldn’t stay here again because of the blood sheets.
10 out of 10 a must stay Hotel super cute. Older but not run down at all . Room was very clean.. THE STAFF WAS AMAZING. FROM Maintenance to Front Desk Amazing. The Complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning was the best I have ever had for free. Would stay again in a heart beat
10/10 Great accommodation, great bathroom and bed very clean. 10/10 recommend.
A very big warning against the Da Vinci Hotel, which will be quite difficult to find as their quite dirty old front is somewhat hidden in the quite dirty street they're located in, and doesn’t reflect their prices. In general, the hotel is nothing like on the website - while looking like a fancy boutique hotel on the official pictures, the lobby is quite shabby and there’s a strong odour of the quite distinct rat- and cockroach repellent which is being used in old buildings in New York. As the hotel has a restaurant in the basement and is old and unmaintained, the pests come up to the rooms and there was a quite large cockroach in my room. My room was their most expensive category and the TV, which I had paid a lot of money to be able to relax in front of, did not work. The hotel staff and management were quite arrogant about it, just said the maintenance person was “out of town” all day and evening - and maybe the next day too. A Wednesday in Times Square? Booking.com did what they could to get my money back from the management but didn’t succeed and instead gave me a voucher. There’s in particular one receptionist who's quite nasty, will speak your first name in a condescending way etc. Both receptionists were shockingly dishonest. Also, please note that unless you buy the most expensive category, which is often more expensive than the last-minute deals at the nearby Hilton and Marriott hotels, your room will face back walls and noisy restaurant fans, not a very charming situation. This review will go back on top of Google a couple of times a month to warn other travellers as I know how much most people look forward to their sometimes once-in-a-lifetime New York trip. Furthermore, many people don’t like to leave negative feedback or forget to leave it and just stay away. Do yourself a favour and choose any other hotel in the area. Da Vinci Hotel clearly does not deserve to be in business and probably won't be for very much longer. Give yourself a better New York experience than described in the above - You deserve it.
$175.00 a night you should not be given a room that has broken doors, mold, wallpaper peeling, bad luggage carts, elevator button plate broken, wood exposed finish worn out, broken ice machines…. This hotel looks neglected and forgotten. Alternating floors to have ice but you have broken ice machines with signs that say temporary….. we know it isn’t. It’s broken and they are not going to fix. They say they are earth friendly by not washing towels but yet they have tiny little toiletries that require multiple tiny plastic containers. Totally a lie, it’s not about being earth friendly it’s about making it easier for room cleaners. I haven’t stayed in a Hyatt in years. I had no idea that they have turned into a low level hotel. I can’t even understand how they are not using top sheets! We had exposed comforter but no sheet between us the the comforter!! Tired and old and not cared for hotel. It’s one step away from a fleabag hotel.
Amazing stay! The room was clean, spacious, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Would definitely come back!
"Absolutely loved my experience here! The coffee was amazing, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and calm. I had a delicious vanilla latte that hit the spot. Plus, the place was super clean and tidy. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m nearby!"

New York City is one of the most mesmerizing places I’ve ever been to. The moment I crossed the bridge from New Jersey into New York, I felt chills running down my spine and a tear slipped down my face (little bit dramatic). When I saw that blue sign that said “Welcome to New York City,” something inside me just… clicked. It felt like I was suddenly living inside one of those early 2000s rom-coms. I know some people say New York is dirty, crowded, full of rats, and too loud — and maybe they’re right in some ways. But no matter what your personal preferences are, you can’t deny that New York leaves an impression. It changes something inside you forever — whether that’s love or dislike. You either fall completely in love with the buildings, the noise, the street vendors, the energy, the chaos… or you feel overwhelmed by the iconic sirens, the rush, and the feeling of being so tiny among all those skyscrapers. There’s really no in-between. You either love it or hate it. For me, it was love at first sight. When I saw those buildings, I couldn’t help but gasp. I grabbed my phone and started taking thousands of pictures. The first time I went, we traveled by car and crossed the bridge that connects Queens and Manhattan. We stayed in Queens for a bit, and a few things didn’t go as planned — I spilled water on my pants (and it was freezing), my phone died, we were hungry and tired — but honestly, none of that mattered because I WAS IN NEW YORK. My mind couldn’t process it. Maybe it was because I grew up watching all those amazing shows and movies like Friends, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Home Alone 2, The Devil Wears Prada, Bride Wars, and so many more. It was like a dream come true. Since we left the car in Queens, we had to take the subway. I was a bit nervous about it, but we went anyway. And honestly? If you’ve never been to the U.S.A, walking down those stairs into the subway feels like stepping straight into the “American dream.” It was surreal. I got the strongest déjà vu, like I had lived there before — like I was finally coming back home. When we arrived at Times Square, my heart was racing. Climbing up the subway stairs and seeing the lights, the chaos, the life… it was breathtaking. In that moment, I felt like I had found my place in the world. We saw the Vessel, the famous Louis Vuitton building, we ate at some amazing restaurants — this tiny Mexican place with incredible food and a Colombian one also— visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum, the American Dream Mall (which is in New Jersey, but still), the M&M’s and Hershey stores, and even the Pelé Soccer shop in Times Square. What amazed me the most wasn’t just the places we visited, but how everything made me feel. It was like every corner had a story. You look up and see thousands of windows in the skyscrapers and think — every person in there has their own world, their own perfect chaos — and I was finally inside one of my own. Maybe New York isn’t for everyone, but for me, it was everything. And I think it’s a place you have to experience for yourself — to see how it makes you feel, to find your place in this big and crazy world. I hope someday I can go back, learn more about the city, and keep exploring new places. No matter where life takes you, who you become or even if you’re not as obsessed with New York as I am, New York will always be there — shining, alive, full of stories, with lights waiting to steal your heart all over again and ready to remind you that magic still exists.

We had an excellent tour guided by Daniel and Ignacio (hope we got the spelling correctly) this morning. it was a very well planned and organized tour; a perfect intro to/overview of Buenos Aires on our first day here. We covered a lot of sites but we never felt rushed - it was very well paced, with just the right amount of driving, walking, taking fotos, etc. We learned a lot about the history, culture, and characteristics of the various neighborhoods we visited. Very informative and very enjoyable! The car is very clean, comfortable and with A/C! Thank you, Daniel and Ignacio! A highly recommended experience!

Came out of the bathroom only to be aggressively grabbed by the bouncer and thrown out for no apparent reason. (Girl btw) Understand safety and security but there was absolutely NO reason for bouncers to be grabbing me in that way. Seriously so upsetting and traumatizing. Obviously will not be returning and will be telling everyone i know to not either. Business should print STICT TSA ESQUE rules on the door….
