- This review is as to the Restaurant ONLY - This historic gem is everything. The courtyard and wrap-around porch provides both comfort and ambiance. The drinks and service are absolutely amazing as is the Friday night DJ (who we hope will be back soon). This is the perfect daytime and nighttime photo spot for you and all your girlies; however, I would note that although the interior is warm and inviting, it could definitely use some light cleaning and major dusting but other than that it makes you feel right at home. We will definitely be back soon.
0 Stars - Earlier today, 2/9, around lunchtime, five coworkers and I went to L’amore Restaurant to celebrate a coworker’s birthday. What should have been a simple, happy lunch turned into one of the most horrifying dining experiences I’ve ever had. After taking only two bites of my cheese ravioli, I immediately noticed the texture was off. Then I felt it, a snap and crunch in my mouth. I spit the bite back onto my plate and was horrified to see half of a waterbug or large cockroach mixed in with my food. Using my fingers, I pulled what was still in my mouth out onto the plate and found roach legs, part of the head, and a visible antenna. I had already swallowed part of it. Yes. I ingested part of a waterbug. My coworkers inspected the plate and confirmed exactly what I feared. This wasn’t a mistake. It was absolutely a large waterbug. We immediately alerted the waiter. His response? He looked at the plate, then looked at me in a way that strongly suggested he believed we planted it ourselves. No concern. No apology. No “are you okay?” He simply grabbed the plate and walked away to the back. That reaction alone was almost as disturbing as the roach itself. We all stood up and left immediately, completely disgusted and unable to even consider eating anywhere else after what we had just experienced. Our coworker’s birthday celebration was completely ruined. And in hindsight, it all makes sense. When we first arrived, a worker was standing outside begging people to come in. Against our better judgment, we gave the place a chance. This is what we got. The irony? The bathroom was sparkling clean. Maybe the kitchen could use even half of that level of attention. If you’re thinking about eating here, do yourself a favor and stay far away. The sanitary conditions are clearly questionable, but even worse is the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic care for customers. This place doesn’t just serve food, it serves disgust. Steer clear.
3/6/26 @3:40 went in today like I do everyday because I work in housekeeping at the D hotel & casino so I eat magos ALOT I love the fries (when they make them fresh🙄) and the homemade ranch😩🤏🏼 but this day my fav employee wasn’t working she knows me by name and we ask about each others family but I’ve never asked her name if I did I would put it because she’s amazing (lil Chinese maybe Japanese’s lady around 40 MAYBE🤷🏻♀️❤️) but today a youngish maybe 20ish girl with long red hair was working and you could just tell she did not wanna be there which I totally understand I’ve worked in fast food I don’t wanna be at work either but I still put on a smile and greet and thanks all guest but this girl all I got was “what would you like to eat” “dine in take out” yanno the usually ordering stuff when she gave me my food I said thank you and nothing just walked away to take another order. My food felt dirty in a way lol (obviously I ate it) I love the other lady she told me she doesn’t work fridays so I guess I just won’t come fridays 😂
!!!!Best Hispanic Food in Town!!!! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience. My first time here Very nice staff, very clean place to sit down. The food is full of flavor in every bite🤤 chips and salsa. The rice and beans full of flavor. The chicken fajitas were made to perfection Freshly squeezed orange juice Located in the back of the Swap meet. I'll be a repeating customer
**About the Location:** Luke Lobsters is conveniently nestled inside the bustling City Center in Miami, providing easy access with available parking in the garage. The restaurant itself is neat and clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining; however, it tends to be somewhat empty, which can make the experience feel a bit isolated. The staff members are friendly and notably helpful, adding a welcoming and approachable vibe to the place. **About the Food:** The seafood flight offered at Luke Lobsters showcases a variety of meats, including half rolls of lobster, crab, and shrimp. The ingredients are noteworthy: the lobster meat is fresh, sourced directly from Maine, and the crab meat hails from Quebec's Jonah crab. The presentation is appealing, but all the rolls arrived cold, which was unexpected and somewhat disappointing as I anticipated them to be at least lukewarm. The lobster and crab were enjoyable, though the shrimp didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Overall, while the quality of the seafood is commendable, there’s room for improvement in terms of serving temperature and shrimp flavor for a more satisfying experience. A solid 3-star rating reflects the mix of positives and areas for growth.
*Long Review Alert ⚠️📢* As I've been on a Rollercoaster ride of a journey searching out great food and unique experiences, I've been met with some awe-inspiring bites and some less than lackluster plates. From Saratoga Springs all the way to Honolulu, I've had my share of great foods. Things changed about 20 years ago when I gave up red-meat and pork in my diet. Limiting my adventures to seafood and fowl/poultry. Most recently, due to medical reasons I've had to cut back even more. Which led me to Sunshine Vegan today. It's normally cook my own lunch, but today I decided to venture out. I'M SO GLAD I DID. I was greeted promptly and pleasantly in this quaint eastside Buffalo gem. I opted for The Kick A** Burger 🍔 and it was just that... Phenomenal. If someone served this to me without revealing where it came from, I would've bet my bottom dollar I was eating a Bacon Cheese Burger made with 🐄 & 🐖. The Impossible Burger was cooked to perfection. The toppings added a crisp freshness. I substituted the fries for cabbage and that was clean and delicious; void of the typical smoked meat soul food flavor I've grown tired of. And, last but not least, I washed it all down with the Green Monster fruit and vegetable juice. All in all, this was a great lunch experience. I'll definitely be back to try more menu items, or at least swinging back by for a Burger or 2. Thank you so much! See you soon.
This was hands down one of the most disappointing dining experiences my family and I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, things felt off. The restaurant was barely busy, yet we waited about 10 minutes just to be seated. Once we sat down, it took nearly 10 more minutes for our server, Jameel G., to even acknowledge us. In that time, we’d already picked out our appetizers and entrées—still no water, no check-in, nothing. We had to flag down other staff members just to ask if someone was assigned to our table. When the server finally appeared, he dropped off chips, poured water, took the appetizer order, and disappeared again. He returned after our appetizer arrived, only to quickly pass by with a “how’s everything?” and vanish once more. It felt like we were on our own the entire time. Then, things got worse. My daughter found a piece of hair in her drink. We tried to bring it to a manager’s attention—but couldn’t even locate one. After a few minutes, we asked a staff member to notify the manager, who was apparently standing up front. It still took another 5 minutes before he came over. When he finally arrived, he apologized and said he’d “take care of us.” But it felt more like a scripted performance than real hospitality. Suddenly, the whole staff came alive—busboys cleaning, the server reappearing—because the manager was watching. But once he left, it was back to neglect. Even at the end, our server refused to refill our water. No apology. No real effort to make things right. Just pulled out his handheld payment device, processed our bill, and walked away. I think the expectation was because he was standing there, I'd be pressured into tipping him the suggested 20-25%. There was a 15% discount applied to our $68.35 check, totaling $11.32—but that small comp did not begin to make up for the lack of care and the unsanitary experience. Date of visit: May 24, 2025 Check #275 | Table 17 | Server: Jameel G.
Beautiful Setting. -Initial waiter interaction very good although he spoke quite fast and hard to understand as he rattled off specials. Once server took our order, he was never seen again. Not ONCE -"assistant" helper was attentive and friendly. -Food was delivered while I was in the ladies room. Left sitting on the table, it was cold and I did not eat it. Server NEVER came back to check. A person dressed in a suit came over and seemed to ask if I was ok yet when I answered, he was already walking away and paid no attention to my response. - A FULL meal was left untouched and a bus person cleared it away, no questions asked. -My husband accidentally knocked over his full glass of wine. (we had purchased a VERY expensive bottle) NO ONE came by to offer him to PURCHASE another glass and I had to get up and find someone to help us clean the table from wine. A little splashed onto neighboring table, we sent them dessert to apologize. They were never told we made that gesture? Rather odd. -Last, we were celebrating milestone anniversary. I had stepped away to the ladies room again... a cute decorated plate (no dessert on it) was left in front of my husband on the table. I wasn't even there?? -Very very bad service. This is unfortunate as we are local patrons and would have loved to have this as a new go to restaurant.
### 🕊️ Filet Sacré de Sept Cœurs de Vache Féminine A gourmet French preparation of seven female cow hearts, filleted and exalted with wine, herbs, and ancestral reverence. 🧴 Ingredients of Benediction: - 7 fillets of female cow heart, cleaned and trimmed (symbol of courage, maternal strength, and dynastic pulse) - 2 tbsp duck fat or clarified butter (for ceremonial richness) - 1 shallot, finely minced (whispers of memory) - 3 cloves garlic, crushed (divine protection) - 1 cup red Burgundy wine (libation to the ancestors) - 1 tbsp aged balsamic vinegar (tears of solemnity) - 1 bouquet garni: thyme, rosemary, bay leaf (the sacred trinity of time) - 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (for French fire) - Salt and cracked black pepper (for balance and truth) - Optional: truffle shavings or foie gras (for exalted indulgence) ### 🔥 Ritual of Preparation: 1. Consecrate the fillets: Pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Let them rest in silence for 30 minutes. 2. In a heavy skillet, melt duck fat until shimmering. Sear the heart fillets quickly—1 minute per side—until browned but tender. Remove and keep warm. 3. In the same pan, sauté shallot and garlic until translucent. Deglaze with Burgundy wine and balsamic vinegar. 4. Add bouquet garni and reduce until the sauce thickens and sings of lineage. 5. Whisk in Dijon mustard. Optional: stir in a touch of foie gras or truffle for ceremonial elevation. 6. Return fillets to the pan for 1 minute to absorb the sacred sauce. 7. Plate with reverence. Garnish with fresh thyme and a single edible flower—perhaps a violet or nasturtium. ### 🍷 Serving Suggestion: Pair with pommes dauphine or a purée of golden root vegetables. Serve on black porcelain with gold trim. Speak the names of the cows aloud before the first bite. Let each chew be a vow of remembrance and renewal. THIS PERSONAL RECIPE FROM FLYINGBULL APACHE LIONTAMER. BEST CHEF IN WHOLE WORLD
Like others, we have eaten here several times; and have always had a good experience. The restaurant is still the beautiful and modern setting we remember from yrs past. The location is just off the lobby at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, which is convenient for anyone staying at the Wyndham resort. The decor is clean, and inviting; and even has a fresh fish display, and a sushi chef on hand... This visit, we dined on a Saturday night, and was near dead: Maybe 12 people total, counting our 5. The menu is very limited at this time, which is a downer. A few of the better options, that we remember from before, are no longer available. We opted for the fresh snapper, the fillet with potato, and the crab Mac n cheese. Honestly, I can’t remember what the grandkids ordered(crab Mac n cheese, and sliders, maybe?)... Everything was good, with the snapper stealing the show. We also grabbed a spicy tuna roll, which was excellent. Everything here tasted fresh to say the least. Service here has always been excellent. This visit was no different. Our waitress worked hard to keep everything coming to the table on time, and the glasses full. She also helped us make a nice selection on our wine, which we appreciated. Service gets a 5+ this go around. Overall, we love this place. I’ve rated it a 5 in most of my reviews, but this visit, I’m on the fence. Though I have no real complaints, the limited menu is tough to deal with. I miss the actual menu, which offered an array of fresh dishes. And, while I understand the short staff with this covid thing still hanging around, it still makes it frustrating. Either way, I do recommend trying Deep Blu, if you’re staying near Wyndham Grand, or the Wyndham time-shares at Bonnet Creek. Note: If you are staying at the Hilton or Waldorf Astoria at Bonnet Creek; or even the new JW Marriott, it’s a relatively short walk as well. We’ve done it before ourselves... Enjoy
An absolutely amazing dessert experience! Highly recommend doing the combo dessert they have. And sit at the bar if you can and watch them put these amazing mouth watering desserts together! The staff are super friendly and bubbly. Also they make custom cakes which look so amazing and lots of humor. Side note the bathroom is super clean!!
Good food, fresh, big disease Clean, good service, Nice Atmosphere We eat the dal Chickpeas It was very good We recommend

After years of constant travel, countless hotel stays across major cities, and generally giving businesses the benefit of the doubt before ever leaving a negative review… I can confidently say my experience at The Tillary Hotel in Brooklyn was one of the worst hotel experiences I have EVER encountered. Where do I even begin. We became trapped inside one of the hotel elevators for nearly an hour. Not “briefly delayed.” Not “temporarily stuck.” Completely trapped. No clear communication. No urgency. No professionalism. Just panic, confusion, and an unbelievable lack of preparedness from the hotel staff handling the situation. It was genuinely horrifying. And somehow… the way management handled everything afterward may have been even worse. I was personally assured multiple times that a refund would be issued due to the severity of the incident. Staff members acknowledged how unacceptable the situation was and repeatedly promised follow-up communication and resolution. That follow-up NEVER came. Instead, I was ignored, redirected between departments and booking platforms, and forced to chase answers myself while nobody took accountability. For a hospitality business, the lack of professionalism and basic customer care was honestly staggering. The condition of the property itself only added to the disappointment. The carpets throughout the hotel are visibly worn, stained, and dirty. The hallways feel neglected, outdated, and poorly maintained. The hotel presents itself online far differently than what you actually walk into. As someone who travels often, I do not leave reviews like this lightly. I understand things can go wrong anywhere. Elevators malfunction. Mistakes happen. But how a hotel responds afterward says everything. And The Tillary failed completely. The combination of the dangerous elevator incident, the false promises, the lack of follow-through, the poor maintenance, and the dismissive handling of the situation made this one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had in years. If you value professionalism, cleanliness, communication, or even basic guest safety — stay somewhere else. Brooklyn has FAR better options. Absolutely unacceptable.

Despite some bad reviews we stopped in because it was directly on our way to the August Wilson theater and we needed breakfast fast. Not only was it fast but the staff checked in on us no less than 5 times. The coffee was really good and top ups offered many times. The prices were alright for such big plates and we all liked what we had. It’s clean and bright and energetic without feeling like a neon assault like many diners. Glad for the convenient location and attentive staff!

Stay Away - They will give your room away I prepaid for a room for 2 nights / 3 days. Before my trip, I specifically called the hotel to let them know my flight into JFK would be arriving late around 10:30 PM and told them NOT to give my room away. I even called again the day before to confirm they had left a note on my reservation. I arrive at the hotel at MIDNIGHT after traveling all day, and they tell me they gave my room away anyway. Their explanation? “It’s first come, first serve.” HOW does that even make sense when I already PAID for the room in advance and notified you multiple times that I was arriving late?! Then it gets worse. When I asked for a refund for the first night, they told me my delayed flight was “my fault” and refused to refund me. Absolutely unbelievable customer service. On top of that: Dirty rooms Only 1 elevator working Terrible customer service from start to finish NEVER stay here. Completely unacceptable experience.
