"Manager"/bartender with glasses working Friday night was beyond rude and had zero customer service skills. She was clanking glasses and snapping “are you done?” while we were ordering, and got aggressive over something as small as grabbing an orange from the bar. Even though she was rude, the guy I was with still tipped her $20 because he thought she might just be having a bad day, unfortunately her attitude stayed the same. Girl please get a new job, customer service is clearly not for you.

$10 for a small mid matcha is robbery.

$18 per glass of wine and when we went up to bar to request napkins and more water for the table, napkins from the bathroom and glasses of water were rudely shoved onto our table while our empty water glasses laid unattended on the table. Also, this place only has a few food items that are all salty items to ensure patrons keep drinking their overpriced drinks. Here’s a hot tip: If you have run out of napkins at a venue like this, have some sense send someone down the street to buy appropriate napkins to get you through your shortage. Do not commingle things from the bathroom on dining tables, particularly when you price your menu this way. There are much better cocktail and wine spots in Tribeca…and the city at large. So, that’s where I will go…

"I want to give a special shoutout to the server who was a old lady there for making our dining experience truly memorable. Their attentiveness and friendly behavior enhanced our meal and made us feel valued guests. We really loved dining at matagali restaurant from the moment we arrived until we left , everything was very well handled. I'm already planning forward to my next visit.

Finally got around to posting the review of Restaurant Gorden Ramsey his three Michelin starred signature restaurant in London which was a very special treat for my 50th.  To set the scene we opted for the 7 course taster menu called the prestige and matching wine accompaniment.  The good stuff Firstly the food was outstanding. The flavours the chef managed to pack into the crystal clear consume was amazing. Layers of flavours coming in waves telling the story of what ingredients were used in its creation. Truly the finest consume I have ever tasted.  There were a couple of other things that neither of us thought went together in our opinion but food and taste is very personal and the rest was fantastic.   The lows: The cheese trolley was a real disappointment to be honest. It was stacked full of various cheeses from local to French and the waitress responsible for this gave her suggestions on what we should try. Firstly I should say that the portions of cheese were tiny and neither of us liked two of the cheeses but we weren't offered any replacements despite these two being the cheeses that she suggested.  The biggest let down was the service. We were one of the first tables to arrive, three tables arrived together, to start with they were so attentive you felt like you couldn't have a conversation as they were on top of you all of the time. It got so bad at one point,  I picked up a pallet cleaners off the plate and just before I could put it back down a waitress tried to take the plate away!  The last service disappointment was as the evening went on the service got slower and slower which is to be expected and not a problem at all. But we paid a lot of money for the accompanying wine matched to the food for each course. The wine servings were so small that we ran out 3 times between courses!  We were only offered a top up to make up for the delay in service on the final desert wine as we had finished this before the long awaited desert arrived, but we went short for the main and fish dishes having to finish these course with only water.  All in all a great experience and fantastic food but at this level there are too many others we want to try so we wouldn't rush back.

Easter Bank Holiday, plan was to go for walk and nice meal out,, disappointing is the least I could say. I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic Greek You should not call yourself a Greek restaurant. The food feels ridiculously whitewashed. I’m confident the food here poisoned us, It’s the only food I ate in the last 24 hours , we ordered the horiatiki salad it wasn't great as olives were way to salty, hummus was very bland and Tyropita was filled with something but for sure not feta or eggs, briefly mentioned to the waiter and he wasn't sure what was in it.. and better for him not to know... He wasn’t interested even tho we complained bout the pastry thing. definitely don't recommend or will we be back.

Had booked a double room for 7 nights mid-September 2017. Hotel is 15 minutes walk from nearest subway ( Joyce Collingwood ), part uphill. A small hotel with ground and first floor ; probably 20 odd rooms in total. Complimentary parking in the basement. External look of the hotel is unappealing being on the main road(Kingsway); reception is small but presentable. Were checked into a large room which was dull. Room had 2 Queen beds as the only room available at the time. Dark brown furniture, walls, carpet and curtains. A free standing air conditioner, no wardrobe. Room smelt musty and had large window at the busy main road level hence lacked privacy. No kettle, but a coffee percolator, which was inadequate for boiling water for tea. Bathroom though small had been renovated recently; had a clean and fresh feel. Staff applied air freshener on request. Next morning we asked to be moved. A similar room overlooking the side road was available with a slightly better colour scheme and new fitted wardrobe area. Reception agreed to move us and offered to see if a kettle was available. When it wasn't, and after mentioning it again, they kindly provided one on the 3rd day. We felt more settled after that. Wifi in 2nd room was good and cleaning reasonable. Points to bear in mind. This is a basic hotel. Rooms are large, colour scheme varies from room to room but furniture is the same and outdated. Bathrooms all appear to have been renovated. Very comfortable beds with nice white linen. The hotel is quiet, reception and cleaning staff are very polite and helpful. Nearby are a Safeway supermarket, mainly Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants, pizza take aways and a laundrette. Overall we found the area to be safe with good transport links. However since hotel is not in downtown Vancouver, we consider the hotel overpriced, given rooms need updating.

The first thing you have to know is that Travelle is in the Langham Hotel, which is part of a chain more familiar in Asia and Europe. The reason you need to know that is that me and my wife were the only diners from opening at 5 till about 7, when a few parties wandered in, but prime time for dining was more in the range of 8 or 9 pm. Not that this detracted from our experience, but if you like the energy and validation of a crowd, you need to eat late or go elsewhere. As to price, Travelle is very expensive, but if you can restrain yourself from wine and cocktails more than we did, two can eat well for $150. Our tab was $265, but drinks amounted to $140. Our meals justified the prices. Raw oysters on the half shell were the only ordinary part of our meal. My gazpacho was surprisingly green, not red, but subtly delicious with accents of veggies and nuts. My wife had snapper that she called “perfect.” For me, in carb-load mode for the Chicago Marathon, noodles with mushrooms, in the most delicious creamy broth I’ve ever had, couldn’t have been better.  Dessert was banana bread sorbet—original and delicious. We also benefitted from a superb server, Steven, also a runner, who proved to be both knowledgeable and delightful. In sum, Travelle is well worth your time and money.

Perfect location to cruise port. Room was updated and clean. The ergonomics of the room was not the most efficient for our purpose. That would be chaise lounge under mounted tv etc. Close to restaurants and China town. Price was right. Would stay again Rooms5.0

Do not go to their brunch!! Just visited today after reading about their new "amazing" brunch and it was a complete disappointment. Hands down, one of the worst brunches in town. The price doesn't correspond with the variety or the quality of the food. Small tables, small food stations, meat was not as advertised, service was ok but they seemed understaffed. We did enjoy the live music. Their duet was truly amazing. But everything else was just below average.

Great mixology here, great cocktails. I really enjoy having great conversations here. I come here often, and service has always been great. Prices are a bit reasonable for what you get, but it's a good time every time I'm in the Chinatown area. Great place!

We were at the 2nd service of 2pm with a lot of shortage: no bread, no coffee on the end, more than a choice of tea ... accessibility to tea-coffee is just not practical because it leads to the toilet and with a table right next to it which blocks the passage ... when to food, it changes and the products are of quality but I find that the ratio quality and especially quantity price was not there. One pancake, 3 potatoes fighting in a duel and two triangles ... anyway I don’t know if it was also due to the 2nd serve or not but I won’t come back to it.

A really nice steakhouse in Brickell. Visited on a Tuesday and had the Tomahawk. Excellent value for money. All courses were fantastic and the service by Li was excellent. Very hospitable and helpful throughout the evening. Would recommend and would visit again.
