$90 per person on a lunch buffet with terribly old and cold food even the slicing station with prime rib and ham where cold. The waitress had a dirty shirt that was bulging at the buttons makes it seem like they don’t care. Our bar order was a long one as the waitress said she didn’t know where the bartender went too. We have been here before and thought it would be a good place for Mother’s Day but not at all. I would not recommend this place and we will not be back
0 Stars - Earlier today, 2/9, around lunchtime, five coworkers and I went to L’amore Restaurant to celebrate a coworker’s birthday. What should have been a simple, happy lunch turned into one of the most horrifying dining experiences I’ve ever had. After taking only two bites of my cheese ravioli, I immediately noticed the texture was off. Then I felt it, a snap and crunch in my mouth. I spit the bite back onto my plate and was horrified to see half of a waterbug or large cockroach mixed in with my food. Using my fingers, I pulled what was still in my mouth out onto the plate and found roach legs, part of the head, and a visible antenna. I had already swallowed part of it. Yes. I ingested part of a waterbug. My coworkers inspected the plate and confirmed exactly what I feared. This wasn’t a mistake. It was absolutely a large waterbug. We immediately alerted the waiter. His response? He looked at the plate, then looked at me in a way that strongly suggested he believed we planted it ourselves. No concern. No apology. No “are you okay?” He simply grabbed the plate and walked away to the back. That reaction alone was almost as disturbing as the roach itself. We all stood up and left immediately, completely disgusted and unable to even consider eating anywhere else after what we had just experienced. Our coworker’s birthday celebration was completely ruined. And in hindsight, it all makes sense. When we first arrived, a worker was standing outside begging people to come in. Against our better judgment, we gave the place a chance. This is what we got. The irony? The bathroom was sparkling clean. Maybe the kitchen could use even half of that level of attention. If you’re thinking about eating here, do yourself a favor and stay far away. The sanitary conditions are clearly questionable, but even worse is the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic care for customers. This place doesn’t just serve food, it serves disgust. Steer clear.

10/10 recommend this place. Oruc was our server and was kind, funny, and quick. Clean atmosphere and lots of space. The food was AMAZING. We got breakfast food and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Love love love
$$$$ + dining experience = only 3 stars Our first dining experience at Le Virtu left us a bit disappointed. The restaurant is part of the hot Passyunk Ave. scene. Luckily on a Sat. night we pulled up just as someone was leaving a metered spot. Otherwise expect to pay ($16) for valet parking. Inside, the dining space is very attractive. Great for a fun or romantic evening out. So the meal. The special "Easter pie" (like a quiche) was very good. The spaghetti with sweet and hot peppers would have been excellent if it was not so salty. The roasted lamb with polenta and broccoli rabe was okay but certainly not outstanding. And again, a bit too salty. The hostess and the waitstaff were friendly, but I was dismayed that our crumb-topped table was never wiped clean. Drinks were reasonably priced. However, with a four $$$$ rating, on this night Le Virtu did not deliver a memorable dining experience.
1.5 Pacific Catch Marina Trendy Marina District Great location, badly laid out No indoor seating; just outdoor seating with heaters This is the marina! By the time, the food gets to the table it is cold! Pluses: baja and steak tacos; tortillas were not hot Miso soup was not hot; it was very salty even for miso House water tasted like dish soap Table was dirty when we were seated by hostess Glassware was dirty Waitress made a mess of pouring the wine, including getting me wet Service was underwhelming DO NOT RECOMMEND
10 thumbs up for this Dallas Favorite! This is my all-time favorite spot in the city! Let's start with the dirty martini with hand stuffed blue cheese olives OR a savory glass of wine from their extensive selection. Next up - appetizers... Terillis' is the only place on the planet that you can get Italian Nachos called, "Italchos" (founder, Jeanie Terilli, invented them and they are remarkable!). You can't go wrong on this menu but take note of the specials. Chef Franky always has something delicious as a suprise. My favorites: the Noki, the seabass, jalapeno soup, and I never skip the house salad. The service is top notch, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Terilli's is located on Lower Greenville Avenue which is a historic part of the city where there is always something going on. Whether you are a long time local or just passing through, don't miss this culinary and social experience! There's a reason they've been a Dallas favorite for over 30 years!
$15 for full Indian buffet in downtown Chicago in a very clean looking place is unbeatable! Food was good with naan to the table. Chicken tikka and gulab jamun on point. The rest of the food was average but overall great place for curry people and Indian food lovers.
10 out of 10 a must stay Hotel super cute. Older but not run down at all . Room was very clean.. THE STAFF WAS AMAZING. FROM Maintenance to Front Desk Amazing. The Complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning was the best I have ever had for free. Would stay again in a heart beat
10/10 So glad we found it! I literally just downloaded this app just to write about this restaurant. We just flew into town and were looking for somewhere to eat by our hotell. I stumbled on when I tried Googling "pesto" to find somewhere that serves pesto. The pictures on the reviews looked so significantly better than anything in our immediate area, and we got a Lyft over to try it. I am soooo glad we did! Absolutely everything was great, from the ambiance to the service to everything we ate. We tried the (forgive the spelling) eggplant rollitini (stuffed eggplant rolls), insalata de pere (pear salad), gnocchi trio, pollo di parmesiana (chicken parmesan), cannoli, pistachio gelato, Reese's explosion cake, and the cheesecake, and there were carrots and bread to start. Every single bite was delicious. I'm a big back. Never before have I been so excited to eat carrots! I mopped up some of that sauce from the carrots with the bread, and I had to stop myself from just eating that and filling up before the food came because it was so good. In fact, most of our plates were literally wiped clean by the end. I was pretty stuffed and ordered dessert to go, but the owner convinced us to try the cheesecake, her mother's recipe. Good Lawd 😩 Hands down the best cheesecake I've ever had. My youngest doesn't usually even like cheesecake, I said, "just try a bite"...ended up eating over half of it lol. I truly cannot say enough. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, such a great environment, loved the decorations and music, and every single bite of the food was amazing! This was a great dinner, great way to start our trip, great intro to the City of Brotherly Love, great way to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend!

My husband and I generally stay out of big box chains since the pandemic but all the smaller sports bars were completely over run with soccer fans and we wanted somewhere out of the way to watch the USA match. Upon arrival things looked promising. There were a few open seats at the bar but not two together. However, all of the high tops along the edge of the bar were open but unfortunately we're dirty. We asked the host if we could sit at one and she said, "It looks like they're dirty ", and she went back to doodling on a notepad. We offered to wait but she didn't really acknowledge us. A second host came up and asked if we'd been helped. I explained we were waiting on one of the high tops to be cleaned. The first host looks up at the second one and says, "The high tops are dirty" and goes back to doodling and joking with host #2. A few minutes later, a 3rd host comes and asks if we've been helped. We explain again that we came to watch the game but their aren't two seats together at the bar but would take one of the high tops instead. He grabs a towel and heads toward the tables and starts to clear one but also asks the bartender if it's okay to put two chairs together. The bartender's response, "It's our job to make people happy, so go ahead!" We thought things were looking up. My husband ordered a beer and I asked about their sangria. He mentioned they were out of prosecco. Working in the industry, I mentioned I'd be okay to sub a splash of triple sec and soda in its place because a sangria sounded great. We thought we look at the menu while we waited on my drink but were a bit surprised at how limited the menu is these days. Neither of us had been to HR in many years. When nothing really tickled our fancy, we decided we just have 1 drink and find somewhere with some more interesting selection, no biggie. The problem came when I never got my drink, ever. The bartender's were busy due to the World Cup. We get it, but still. At least I did get a water while my husband had his beer. It coulda been worse. When we finally asked to cash out and said we were gonna pass on food, he couldn't find our tab and you could tell it was all coming together. He did offer to let us go without charging us for the beer but we asked that he ring it in so we could tip. Neither of us had cash. He was apologetic and very nice but at this point, the comedy of errors had already played out. This is the main reason we stay out of big box. Smaller establishments that have a name and pride to protect seem to go the extra mile.

Even being busy for World Cup visitors, it was extremely clean and fast. The croissant is amazing!

First clue: Filthy menu How can this place get such high reviews? I ordered Penang Curry $19.95 . When asked “what protein?” I didn’t want one as I am vegetarian and I find no nutrition value or taste in tofu. But the waiter pushed the tofu in be by saying” crispy tofu” or whatever so I figured there be a few bits I could ignore and I would eat the vegetables. I got a huge pile of white rice plus a bowl of the Panang which was almost nothing but tofu. There were 3 slivers of green bell and a couple of red slivers. That was it. The sauce had flavor so I just ate sauce soaked rice .

Highly recommended We arrived at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse on ChatGPT’s recommendation, and not for a single moment did we regret it. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we were in for something special. The restaurant is beautifully designed, with a sophisticated, dimly lit atmosphere that feels both elegant and comfortable. It is quiet enough to hold a conversation without raising your voice, yet lively enough to maintain a pleasant buzz, complemented by tasteful background music. The experience began before we even reached our table. At the entrance, guests are greeted by an impressive display of premium beef cuts and a lobster tank that immediately sets expectations high. Since we had made a reservation, we were seated promptly. The restrooms were spotless, and for those who appreciate old-school luxuries, there is even a cigar selection featuring Cuban cigars. As impressive as the setting was, and as professional and attentive as the service proved, everything ultimately took a back seat to the food. ChatGPT promised a top-tier steakhouse, and Pappas Bros. absolutely delivered. We started with excellent glasses of Champagne, which were generously refilled, and then moved on to outstanding red wine. Then came the main event: two Filet Mignons, a dry-aged New York Strip, and a dry-aged Ribeye. All four steaks were cooked to perfection. The medium-plus orders arrived exactly as requested, while the medium steak displayed the ideal warm pink center. Achieving this level of precision with such large cuts requires real skill, and the kitchen deserves tremendous credit. Special recognition also goes to the aging process. The beef developed a remarkable depth of flavor, particularly the Ribeye, which delivered an almost heavenly richness. The side dishes were equally impressive. The asparagus was exceptional, perfectly cooked and not drowned in butter. The roasted wild mushrooms turned out to be an absolute delicacy and disappeared from the table within minutes. The potatoes au gratin were the only dish that left a little room for improvement. While still delicious, they could have benefited from slightly less melted cheese on top and potatoes cooked a touch less, as they were somewhat softer than what one would expect from a classic gratin. We finished with two excellent desserts. The Key Lime Pie earned high praise from those who enjoy the genre. As someone who gravitates toward chocolate, I thoroughly enjoyed the Turtle Mousse Tart, featuring chocolate mousse, salted caramel, and an Oreo crust. It was indulgently sweet without feeling overwhelmingly heavy, if such a thing is even possible. One of the evening’s most memorable moments came unexpectedly. After we asked our server to take a photo of our group, she noticed we seemed to be celebrating and asked about the occasion. Since we were indeed celebrating, she graciously offered dessert on the house. It was one of those thoughtful gestures that elevate a meal into a truly memorable hospitality experience. In total, we paid approximately $668, including a 20% gratuity, for four entrées, three side dishes, six glasses of wine and Champagne, and two complimentary desserts. It was not an inexpensive evening, but we walked away feeling that every single dollar was worth it. Highly recommended. If you are looking for one of the finest steakhouse experiences in Dallas, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse more than lives up to its reputation.
